Hot Strawberry Pineapple Vanilla Mix

1/2 ounce strawberry juice
1/2 ounce pineapple juice

1 ounce lime juice
1 egg (take the white egg)
2 teaspoon powdered sugar Add hot water
Add small spoonful of whipped cream.Makes 1 serving

Hot Oreggo

1 egg
½fruit of orange juice
2 teaspoon powdered sugar

Shake well and strain
add one cup of hot water.
Stir and serve

Hot Leggo

1 ounce Lemon syrup
1 egg
Lemon or Lime Juice
hot water Mix the syrup, cream and egg in a shaker
add the hot water
mix all ingredients (pouring back and forth several times from shaker to mug)
add the syrup
mix all quickly with the spoon
add hot water,
add lemon or lime juice
stirring constantly and strain.

Unique Punch

2.25 litres (10 cups) Sauterne
1 measure Maraschino
1 measure Orange Curacao
1 measure Grand Marnier Put the sugar in the wine in a large bowl
Add a lot of ice in a punch bowl
Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Add slices of fruits in season.
Makes 10 to 15 servings

FRESH PUNCH

1 ¼ cups Caster sugar
3.5 litres (15 cups) Claret
2.25 litres (10 cups) sparkling Mineral Water
1 ¼ cups lemon juice
2 measures Orange CuracaoPut the ingredients in a large punch bowl
Add plenty of ice.
Mix all the ingredients and stir
Add decorations with slices of fruits
Makes 20 to 25 servings.

SPARKLING BRANDY PUNCH

2 ½ cups Caster sugar
2.25 litres (10 cups) sparkling Mineral Water
2.25 litres (10 cups) Claret
2 ½ cups Brandy
2 ½ cups Rum
2 ½ cups sparkling White Wine
2 measures Italian Vermouth Blend the sugar in the mineral water.
Pour into a large bowl.
Add a large quantity of ice.
Add the remaining ingredients and stir gently.
Makes : 25 to 30 servings.

LORA PUNCH

15 Lemon
4 Oranges
3 cups caster sugar
1 ¼ cups Orange Curacao
2 measures Grenadine
2.25 litres (10 Cups) Brandy
2.25 litres (10 cups) sparkling Mineral Water Put the fruit juices into a jug.
Put the sugar in and stir until dissolved.
Put a lot of ice in a large punch bowl
Mix all the ingredients and stir.
Add decoration with lemon and orange slices.
Makes 15 to 20 servings.

Pineapple Lemon Punch

375 ml pineapple juice
90 ml lemon juice
1 bottle white wine
soda water
dash of orange cordial
small paw paw
tropical fruits

Remove the skin and seeds from the paw paw.
Slice it and put in a blender.
Mix the juices and cordial and blend over ice.
Pour into a punch bowl and add the white wine.
Stir thoroughly. Chill for several hours.
Add ice and soda water and
Decorate with tropical fruits.
Makes 10-12 Servings

Lemon Mix Punch

1 bottle chilled champagne
1 bottle brandy
3 bottles dry red wine (chilled)
375ml cold tea
juice of 24 lemons
1 kg caster sugar
lemon slices

Dissolve sugar in the lemon juice in a punch bowl. Add ice to the bowl. Blend the tea, wine, and brandy and stir gently. Add the champagne immediately before serving. Serve and decorate. Makes 12-15 servings

Orange Rum Punch

1 measure dark rum
2 measures fresh orange juice
juice 1/2 lime
1 tbsp gomme syrup
dash of grenadine
crushed ice
cocktail cherry & slices of fruit

Shake together the liquid ingredients with the crushed ice. Strain into a medium-sized tumbler and finish with slices of fruit and a cherry or sprig of mint.

FRUIT MIX PUNCH

2 measures orange juice
2 measures grapefruit juice
2 measures pineapple juice
2 measures apple juice
few drops angostura bitters
slices of various fruits to decorate
ice

Mix all the juices and liquids together and pour onto a container half filled with ice. Add the fruit and drink with a straw.

Lemon Brandy Punch

1.25 cups caster sugar
juice of 6 lemons
1.25 cups brandy
2/3 cup peach brandy
2/3 cup dark rum
1.75 litres/7.5 cups sparkling mineral water

Dissolve the sugar in the lemon juice, transfer to a large punch bowl containing plenty of ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients and stir gently. Decorate with lemon slices. 12 to 15 servings.

Brandy-Champagne Punch

1.25 Cups caster sugar
2.25 litres/10 cups Champagne
1.2 litres/5 cups Sparkling mineral water
2 measures brandy
2 measures maraschino
2 measures Orange Curacao


Put the ingredients into a large punch bowl
containing plenty of ice cubes and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add slices of fruits in season. 15 to 20 servings.

Brandy-Orange Punch

600ml/1 pint Brandy
600ml/1 pint Sherry
1 measure Maraschino
1 measure Orange Curacao
2.4 litres/4 pints Champagne
(or sparkling white wine)
1.2 litres/2 pints carbonated water
cracked ice
fruits to slice for decoration

Stir all the ingredients, except the ice, together in a punchbowl or large container. Surrond the bowl with cracked ice until chilled and then decorate with fruit. 18 to 20 large glasses.

Orange-Lemon Punch

5 cups caster sugar
juice of 3 oranges
juice of 10 lemons
1.2 litres/5 cups Champagne
1.2 litres/5 cups dark rum
1/2 measure orange bitters
grated rind of 1 orange
10 egg whites, beaten
ice

Dissolve the sugar in the fruit juices in a large punch bowl. Add the champagne, rum, orange bitters, orange rind and the egg whites. Add plenty of ice cubes and stir well. Keep the bowl packed with ice. Decorate with orange slices. 15 to 20 servings.

Pineapple Appricot Smoothie

1/4 cup crushed pineapple
1 fresh apricot, diced
6 strawberries
1/2 banana
1 1/2 cup water
1 tbsp. skim milk powder
Put in a blender, process fruit with the rest of the ingredients. Blend until thoroughly mixed and serve.

Mango Smoothie

1 ripe mango, peeled, pitted & chopped (approx 1-1/4 cups)3/4 cup skim milk
1/4 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
3/4 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 ice cubes
Pinch of salt
Fresh mint sprigsPlace all ingredients except mint in blender. Blend well until smooth and creamy. Garnish with mint.

Frozen Fruit Smoothie

1/2 cup frozen bananas
1/2 cup frozen peaches
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
2 cups milk
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons honeyPut and mix all the above ingredients in ablender until smooth. Pour smoothie into a tall glass, pop a straw in and enjoy! This recipe works perfectly for those hot summer days. Makes 2 servings.

Blueberry Strawberry Banana Smoothie

1/2 cup blueberries
1 cup halved strawberries
1 fresh banana
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
2 cups fresh buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Place all fruit in blender. Add sugar, orange juice, buttermilk, and vanilla.

Fruity Smoothie

1 Tbsp. apple juice concentrate
Grape Nuts

Banana Shake

Almond Milk

A smoothie is basically a blended fruit drink.
The best-tasting smoothies are made from fruit that is fresh or frozen, and not canned.All smoothies begin with a liquid base. This can be orange juice, milk or another liquid.You can make a frostier drink by freezing fresh fruit before making a smoothie.Smoothies are best when they're fresh out of the blender, but they can be frozen the night before, as well just remove the smoothie from the freezer about an hour before drinking.You can replace a meal with a smoothie or shake by adding a scoop of high-quality protein powder and a tbsp. of high quality olive or flax oil.

Tips : MAKING THE PERFECT SMOOTHIE

Put the fruit in the blender first. Make sure that the items are smaller than a golf ball so they will blend completely. Add the liquid ingredients next.Fasten the lid and press the start button. Use high speed for about 20-30 seconds.Stop the blender and check to see if the ingredients are well blended. Sometimes the frozen fruit will jam under the blade. If there is jammed fruit, use a spatula to push the fruit, and blend again.Once the mixture is evenly blended, slowly add two ice cubes through the opening of the blender lid. Keep adding one or two ice cubes at a time until the blender sounds smooth instead of gravelly. If your blender is not strong enough to blend ice cubes, omit the ice and substitute just enough ice cold water so that the shake will have a milkshake consistency.If the shake/smoothie is too thin, add more fruit or ice. If it’s too thick, add more liquid.
